The PD100 Networkcamera series from BSTI uses ActiveX and support because of that only the Internet Explorer. Because the CGI Script "snapshot.cgi" does not exist in my model PD100HV2, I created other possibilities to watch the camera image.

pd100_get2.pl is a customized version of the Perl script pd100_get.pl (no longer available). There were some adjustments needed so that the script works with my camera. In addition it can use cameras with login passwords.

pd100.py is the Python version of the pd100_get2.pl script. To use the camera in a Python program, I made a Python class from the Perl script.

viewer.py imports pd100.py, run it in a thread and updated the picture over again in a GTK window, so that it looks like a video.
